The String Sisters

Chelsi the Cello

Meet the first of our traveling companions: Chelsi the Cello. She and her sisters will be hitching a ride to Halifax with us. They will be reunited with their owners, young missionaries, who will perform with a string orchestra doing devotionals in our mission. Elder Call has been asked by President Leavitt to organize the music. Chelsi belongs to Sister Lee. We brought her home last Monday and she's all packed and ready for the journey.

Veone the Viola

Veone, affectionately named after my mother-in-law, joined the musical family last Tuesday. She met us at South Towne Mall, courtesy of Elder Waldie's friend,  Sister Kearl. She and Chelsi seemed to hit it right off with their matching well-worn cases. Now we just need Violet the Violin to complete the family. (I did tell Elder Call that I'm not answering any more calls when I see his number on the caller ID and we are NOT interested in adding a tuba to the group).
